There is no right or wrong way to determine how much force you need to exert. I would rather use the term 'pressure' in executing a drawing. One needs to experiment with various weight of graphite pencils and the pressure one exerts determines the shading, especially when using continuous tone.
I personally only use an HB pencil for my drawings - relying on the skill in ny hand to determine how light or dark the shading should be.
Note: different makes of pencil although having the same number can react differently in tone on your paper - the paper that one uses will make a dirrence to your finished drawing. I can't emphasize enough how important it is to try out different techniques before executing your final piece of work. This exercise will give you confidence to start on you final piece as you will be sure in your own mind as to what exactly you wish to achieve.
Hope this helps.

when you do a drawing using only lines
you draw using pencil because if you make a mistake you can ease it in stead of having to do the whole drawing again
your using the force called muscular force.
Drawing by using a pencil and paper.
Not using a sharpened pencil and then using the right dimensions.

input force/effort force In physics, the force that you apply to something over time is "work".
input force/effort force In physics, the force that you apply to something over time is "work".
2 forces are always involved when using a machine. * Effort Force - FE - the force applied to a machine. * Resistance Force - FR -the force applied by a machine.
Every time something is moved,e.g-using a pencil or walking, force is beingused.
In order to draw an elephant head you must use gray coloring. Also, you should make sure you do an outline for the large ears and long trunk.
By using a piece of paper, a pen and maybe some ink a pencil too
