Not enough information. Half dollars have been struck for over 200 years, and older silver coins turned up in circulation as recently as the 1970s.
If you have only 1971 and later Kennedy halves, go ahead and spend them. They're made of cupronickel like dimes and quarters, and are only worth face value.
