Only if you are diabetic, then there is never too much. However, more than 1.5 liters a day would be considered excessive by most people

**I would just like to note that 1.5 liters (approximately 50 ounces) of Orange Juice has about 144 grams of sugar and 660 calories. Soooo... yeah. Even if you aren't diabetic, that's probably too much unless orange juice is a whole meal for you.**

Also, some people have a low tolerance to acidic food and orange juice in high quantity can cause mouth ulcers or upset stomachs.

An article published by Life Extension sited a study showing improved blood flow in the carotid arteries and a reduction of the carotid intima-media thickness. Carotid artery wall thickness decreased an average of 35 percent in one year. Blood flow improved 44% in one year. The participants of the study drank 2 to 4 ounces of pomegranate juice per day and took statins and anti-hypertensive drugs. The control group took the drugs but did not drink the juice. Their conditions worsened.
