That's not true at all. In Massachusetts they are paid at the least 100,000 k annually. Though many have been losing their jobs in favor of EZ pass systems and machinated collectors there are still jobs available. As you can see the median for someone starting is $11 an hour and it increases pretty dramatically with the years. But I have a friend who only was working for them for three years and as I said she makes 100 k annually. These jobs are very sought after so I wish you luck. I'm trying to get into it myself.
