With mine, not as much as you would think having seen the advert! In the back of the machine is a kettle basically. It holds about half a pint of water. This is connected via a rubber pipe to the jet above the door. It boils this water (about 4 minutes) and under the pressure that creates (no compresser is used) the hot moist air comes into the drum via the pipe and jet. The water condenses on the drum and the glass but I have never seen steam circulating in the drum or exiting the jet. Perhaps in a cold climate you may see steam. This runs for a few minutes on the REFRESH cycle then stops and the clothes are tumbled for a further 12 minutes. When you take them out they are cold, damp and, in places, wet where the condensed water in the pipe has splattered out of the jet onto the clothes and the glass. You could iron them dry but not put them straight on. A guy on YouTube has a video of the whole process. I thought mine was faulty and did think of getting it swapped but looking around on the internet it seems what I get is normal. Hope that helps
There really isn't an average pressure. The pressure on a steam washer all depends about what unit you have bought. The quality also depends on how much was spent on the product.
According to a variety of online retailers, the average price of a steam washer is between $500-1000. Prices will vary so you are going to need to price compare and read reviews.

Because the titanics boilers did not measure how much steam was boiling if there was to much steam it would go out the funnels that were 63 feet high.

You can add your cdkey, but that is pretty much all you can do.
