You have three days in New York State to pay your ticket. If not, you can be arrested. They'll even come look for you in another state or country.

Another View: Every state is different. The time frame should be printed somewhere on the ticket itself. If you can't find it call your local traffic court and ask.

Speeding ticket in Texas?

I am not sure what you are asking but normally you can take Texas online traffic school and keep the speeding ticket off your record. There is a link to the Texas traffic school at the link below. Next you can appear for court and usually take a deferment. If it is more serious then you need a Texas traffic attorney.

Will you automatically get traffic school for your first ticket in california?

No, you are not automatically able to take traffic school. It really depends on the violation that you received. If you received a standard speeding ticket, not excessive speeding or aggressive driving, then you should be able to take the traffic school. I am assuming that because this is your first ticket you have not attended traffic school in the last 18 months. You need to look over your paperwork carefully when you receive it from the court and it will tell you what your options are. Depending on the county you received your ticket in, you may be able to take an online class.

What is the fine for a third speeding ticket in Illinois?

What are the factors that would cause state farm insurance to increase with a speeding ticket?

The speeding ticket itself is a factor as well as the amount of speed you were going. Basically, if you get a ticket for speeding, your rates will go up. In some states, they can't up your insurance if you take a traffic course in driver safety through the state, providing you take the course in response to the ticket. Nor can they increase your rates if you take the ticket to court and win your case.
