How much weight can you lose if you eat lettuce for a week?
3500 Calories = 1 pound of fat. IF you burn this much, you WILL lose weight.I am a pro model and u will lose 1 pound. I would do the Fit for Life plan of you want to lose weight. IT is healthier and better tasting:). PS YOU can find the book at the library. IT might be under the diet and weight loss section.

This is an ineffective way to lose weight, because you will not lose much fat, and you will put on fat more quickly when you restart your regular eating habits. If you want to… lose fat, stop eating carbohydrate dense, processed foods. If it's in a box, carton or packet it's often bad. Stick to lean proteins, fruits and veggies and exercise often. You simply cannot lose weight and maintain your weight loss in the long run without changing your eating habits altogether.When your body stops getting food it goes into a starvation mode and saves fat. The weight you will lose (not much) will be mostly water and muscle tissue. This is bad because not only will you have to start eating again, but since you now have less muscle, and therefore a slower metabolism than when you began fasting, you will gain even more fat on top of the fat that your body stored while you fasted. The only time your body will start burning noticeable amounts of fat is when it can no longer burn muscle proteins as a fuel source. However, this will only happen you're close to death.Rather than starve yourself, you will do far better to strictly limit or eliminate (apart from the occasional treat) refined (processed) carbohydrates. If you are unsure what refined (processed) carbohydrates are, see the related link for a list. If you couple this will frequent, cardio exercise, you should lose weight.I tried it. I must say I do not have an addictive personality or focus much on my body or looks. I did it in an attempt to try to understand what a friend of mine was going through. I started at 176lbs and the initial weight loss was quick, probably due to emptying my body of the waste over the first couple of days. I drank only water and tea with milk and one sugar. I did my normal work involving moderate exercise and lost 11lbs. Unexpected symptoms nearing the 7th day were: flickering vision and problems focusing my eyes, giddiness, and fatigue. Please note: Half the weight was back on within a couple of days. I eat a small cup of chunk light tuna (3 oz or so) for lunch and drink plenty of water throughout the day. I hit the gym and do plenty of cardio exercise (cardio exercise the key to major weight loss because it burns lots of fat). For dinner I have perhaps a cup of soup, a small piece of chicken, or nothing. No, its not healthy at all, but not eating anything is not very smart and is incredibly difficult to do. I have not felt fatigued, nor have I had any health problems of which I am aware.I would like to add that I drastically cut down on calories for around 2 weeks for my birthday party. I lost a stone (14 pounds) in 2 weeks and I actually still ate, just very little. I started eating again (not quite normally, but around 1500 calories a day) and I haven't gained any of it back at all. I'm really happy with my weight now, and eat three healthy meals a day, just small amounts each meal.If you're going to give up food for a week, try going on the Lemonade Diet; by going on the Lemonade Diet, your body won't be starved and you'll cleans your system. You can lose up to 20 pounds if you stay on the diet for 10 days.
Answer You should not be doing that. That is not very healthy for you not to eat for 2 weeks. It is actually very stupid. You need to start exercising, eating more fru…it and veggies, and drinking more water. Not eating will cause significant damage to your body.
Answer Worst thing you can do. Your body will think it's starving and survival mode will kick in and screw up (slow down) your metabolism. You will not fee…l good. Instead, try a Fast or body detox, plan with juices, or protein powders. Try the "Fast Track One Day Detox Diet". Search at Amazon or another book site for it. It's not really one day, you do a week prep, then the detox fast, then a three day recovery. You can exercise all you want. Except on the Fast Day, I believe. Check it out. Don't just Not Eat. Everyone knows it's just stupid and makes things worse. Your metabolism slows down and you lose weight slower. BTW...ephedra is legal again and works great as a appetite supressant. Check out some nutritional supplement websites and you'll see all kinds of stuff.
Answer You will be sick tired drained ANd you won't loose weight because your body thinks its starving so its saving fat then when you finally eat it is going to… make you gain more than what you started. So Your better off getting on an organic diet and cut out your sugar and soda intake!
What you lose will be water. When carbohydrates are not eaten, there is loss of retention of water.
The weight you lose will be mainly water and will soon come back when you begin to live again. It would be best to change your lifestyle to something including balanced,… portioned meals and at least 30 minutes of exercise a day.
Not eating is very dangerous, and starving or fasting for that long (not as a reuslt of a religious obligation or medical condition) is a sign of the eating disorder anorexia.… Though a few pounds can be lost that way, they will quickly be regain onced normal eating resumes. The better and proper way to lose weight would be through diet and exercise.
You will actually put on water weight at first, so not eating for a week doesn't help in losing weight at all. But to answer your question, that would depend on the person and… their metabolism. Your life. Is that worth it? That depends on your metabolic rate. Some people may lose about 2 or more pounds but it is not a healthy option. Starving only causes your immune system to drop and expose yourself to health risks. Change your lifestyle. That is the only guarantee you can lose weight the safer and healthier way.
I reckon you could lose between 1.5 - 2 stone, depends on your build and how overweight you are. I'm going to try not eating for a fortnight to, just drinking water… and goin out for walks. =D
If you eat less than 1000 calories a day your body can actually gain weight because it is either affected by the change or the central nevus system senses that your getting we…aker and puts out the stored fat in your lower intestine. So the answer to that is you'll probably just gain more weight than before.
That would depend on how much tuna you're eating, and what you were eating before. In all probability not that much, maybe 1-3 pounds - most of which you'd put right bac…k on once you start eating regular food again.

It is impossible to tell since there are so many variables. It depends on how active you are, what you eat to get 8400 calories, how much sleep you get, etc. You may not even …lose weight at all, even though it is highly unlikely. However, 8400 calories in a day is unhealthy, let alone a week. I don't think anyone is so fat that they need to resort to near-starvation to be healthy. You might even die if you go at that diet for more than a few weeks. I would recommend against it. In fact, if you are trying to lose weight, I suggest exercising for 30 to 60 minutes a day, using portion control, cutting out soft drinks and candy, and watching what you eat overall. Simply cutting calories will not get the results I am sure you are looking for.
It wont be of any use for u and if u really want to loose weight and ou must need to get aware of ur food diet and u must also go 4 exercies regularly and ultimately u have to… change your daily schedule..

Rather, you should diet gra…dually, not skipping meals altogether; and allow a week for every 1-2 pounds you want to lose. Here's a program for the period in which you want to lose weight: Plenty of moderate aerobic exercise, no sweetened liquids at all, and no junk food at all. Preferably no sugar, and as little added salt and processed foods as possible. Eat 3 not-large-portioned meals/day; do not skip breakfast; and avoid sweet snacks. Limit your calories (better to consult a doctor or nutritionist concerning the amount), and weigh yourself 2-3 times/week. Ignore the sensation of hunger. If you see your weight diminishing at a safe , reasonable rate (1-2 pounds/week), keep it up. Once you've reached your target weight, increase your calorie intake somewhat. And you can then have small amounts of sweetened foods or junk food on occasion (if at all), along with your regular foods (not instead of them). But keep checking your weight 2-3 times/week. Avoid crash diets, diet pills etc. Avoid fatty cuts of meat. Walk as much as possible. Bicycling and swimming are good too. More guidelines: Don't concentrate on specific foods so much as on a balanced, healthy diet plus exercise. Plenty of moderate exercise rather than intense exercise, which can damage your joints. Good nutrition means eating what your body needs, while ingesting as few harmful things as possible. It has also been described as getting enough of each of the major food categories (grains, fruits, vegetables, protein, dairy, etc.; plus plenty of water). This will vary somewhat from one person to another; and I don't believe that there's any universal diet that can be prescribed for everyone. Avoid best-sellers with their perennial fad diets. And think twice before using any dietary supplements or weight-loss pills. In general, one's starting point can be a menu of whole grains, whole-wheat bread, a good amount of vegetables, some fruits and nuts, fish, lean meats (in not-large amounts), and some dairy. However, this must be tweaked according to one's health, weight and other factors at the outset; and also adjusted over time, as one sees what works for him/her in particular.
