One ounce
My office is changing systems from a weight based postage to using First-Class Stamps. How much does a set of First-Class Stamps cost and is there any discount for purchasing in bulk?
The cost of a United States First-Class postal stamp was .03$ from 1933-1958. Using the CPI to correct for inflation that would equal .41$ in 2014 dollars.
For First Class postage, one ounce using the Liberty Bell forever stamp, 44 cents.

The Forever stamp is not to be used for postage overseas. If you are mailing a letter to a soldier, and using the APO box, normal rates apply. You would be able to use a Forever stamp for that letter.
Postage rates vary according to what service you want (Overnight, two-day, first class, etc.). If you're just using stamps, a First Class stamp is 49 cents. Standard shipping for non-weighed items to Hawaii is no more expensive than anywhere else in the US.
You would have to identify the stamp using a catalog, there are three or four different issues that this description would fit. Check you library for a copy of Scott's Postage Stamp Catalog of the World. It will help you identify the stamp and its catalog value. A mint copy may have a small value, say half a dollar or so. Minimal value for these stamps in used condition indicates that the cost is in packaging and tracking and not the stamp itself. A dealer isn't going to be interested in purchasing a single copy. You would be better to use it for postage rather than trying to sell it. Or trade with another collector!
How long using first class mail does it take for a letter from The Villages, FL (32162) to get to central NJ?
Yes. The H series stamps are only worth 33 cents. You need to add enough postage to total the current rate.
