EVERY PERSON WILL LOSE A DIFFERENT AMOUNT OF WEIGHT BECAUSE EACH PERSON'S BODY RESPONDS DIFFERENTLY TO DIFFERENT STRESSORS. Not as much weight as she'll gain back once she stops starving herself. When you fast, your body compensates by slowing down its metabolism in order to conserve energy. This will continue for some time even after you begin eating again. I have heard that but the funny thing is I am 20 years old 5'9 and used to weight 190 and I went into depression and didn't eat a whole lot and I lost 45 lbs and kept it off for a year and a half and i ate anything and everything and I am just barely gaining it back now and only like 15 lbs.... but like you said everybodys body is different I just know mine didnt go into starvation mode. Not that I am saying you should do that it wasn't a good idea and there are a lot of healthier ways to losing weight. I suggest weight watchers. That is really good and it really does become a way of life. You start to look at everything as points.
It is a very bad idea to fast for the purpose of losing weight. If your brain senses you are starving, your metabolism will be slowed, meaning you will be unable to burn fat and will actually gain more weight in the long run.
A much healthier and effective way to lose weight is to eat three regular meals a day, cut out snacks, and begin swimming and/or jogging as a hobby.
Fasting can cause irrepairable damage to your internal organs.

If you want to lose a pound of fat and not water weight, it takes 3500 calories. So it takes 7 days of having a 500 calorie deficit to lose a pound of fat.
a 40,000 pound weight, also my ex-wife... ... although she may well be a little heavier these days
500 extra calories would be an extra pound of weight every 7 days (3,500 calories is equal to one solid pound of weight). That is about 4 to 4.5 pounds every month.
Fruit and vegetable drinks can supply extra energy and nutrients. People can fit a few days of juice fasting into their normal schedules without significant drops in energy. Juice fasts are also said to have cleansing and detoxifying effects.

No. That is you dropping a pound or two of water weight and then gaining back that and more due to the drop in your metabolism from not eating for two days.
You can't safely lose weight at that rate- it would require a daily caloric deficit in excess of 3000 calories. Eat right and exercise regularly to lose weight successfully.
The answer is 50 pounds. The first day the part of the cucumbers that is not water is 1% of the total weight, or 1 pound. Several days later the non-water part of the cucumber is now 2% of the total weight, but still weighs 1 pound. if 2% is 1 pound, 100% is 50 pounds.
