The 16 GB iPad costs approximately £499 at a retail store.
International pricing has not yet been released officially by Apple at this time. However, if the 16GB iPad retails for $499 USD, it should retail for slightly over £300 in England.
They retail for between $499-$899, depending on which model you get and which store you shop at.
The new IPad isn't called the IPad 2011, it is called the IPad 2. You can purchase one of these pretty much anywhere, Radio Shack, Wal-Mart, EBay, or the Apple store.
The new iPad (3rd generation) was released on March 16, 2012 in the U.S.
March 11, 2011 in USA and internationally March 25, 2011.
The Apple retail store online would be very beneficial for you in finding out more information about the IPad. It also has information on price and applications on the IPad.

The iPad has been replaced by the iPad 2, which has been replaced with the 'new iPad'. Refurbished iPad 2s are available in the Apple Refurbished Department. You can donate your iPad to Teach For America at any Apple Retail Store. You can also get tablet computers which are like the ipad (for example, there's an apple iphone, but you can also get an android which does something like the iphone).
Depends how much money you get for your iPad 1.
