Each manufacturer is specific to change intervals. GM recommends 5 years or 160k on the newer models. However it has been noted that their Dexron coolant is not able to last that long. A safe interval is 2 years or 60,000km whichever comes first.
could you tell me how often should coolant be added to my 1998 el.ford futura thanks
This is often caused by air being trapped in the cooling system. Get a qualified mechanic to drain, flush and refill the radiator/cooling system.
flush and change cooling system liquid every 2 years. use correct liquids for your vehicle.
It is not necessary to flush the power steering system in a car. However, you should check the power steering fluid level in the car each month.
never unless there is a leak in the cooling system
Adiabatic cooling is cooling that occurs without removing any energy from the system. It often occurs when a gas is decompressed. Adiabatic heating and cooling play an important role in weather.
It is a good practice to flush the engine after each use, particularly if operated in salt, or brackish water. Also, if operated in shallow water where the engine may be picking up silt or sand, as any of the above mentioned may cause obstructed cooling water flow.
Should really flush your system every year to prevent any rusting or fouling, but at the very least every 2 years.
Although it doesn't specify how often you can use it, since it is flushing out your system and takes a lot of motivation to go through with, I wouldn't suggest doing it very often. After the flush, it is recommended to start a healthy diet to keep some of the weight from coming back on.
It depends on your level of body fat, how much water you drink, and how often you urinate.
Every 3000 miles or every 3 months, whichever comes first.
Probably not. The two engine cooling system is not the cabin cooling system. Reduced air conditioning can be caused by clogged cabin filters, these are located behind the glove box of many cars and are easy to replace, often costing around $20 each. There can be 2, perhaps more. Then again, the air con system may be low on refrigerant gas. This gas can leak out over time, or there may be a leak in the system. Should there be a leak in the system and the leak is not repaired when the gas is replentished, then the poor cooling condition will reappear, and the cost of the recharge wasted.
