How to get around screen lock on iPod if you forgot password?

First, You need to put your iPod into DFU mode.

(Turn off your Ipod by holding the button on the top (Sleep/ wake button) and sliding the power off switch.

Then hold Sleep/ wake button and the circular button with the white squareish thing in the middle (Home button) down for ten seconds..........then release the Sleep/ wake button and keep holding the Home button for another ten seconds..........

Now, you must plug the Ipod into iTunes and restore and update the device.

The only issue now is that you must now completely redo your Ipod back to how you had it, if you do not regularly back it up. If your device is backed up then simply select the option once it finishes the recovery.

well the first thing you do is plug it into your computer and go on your itunes file,then you add at least one or two songs then when it is finished unplug your ipod. should be back to normal!! :) (this was on my ipod nano so idk if it'll work with classic or touch

Press the home button. (the one at the bottom do you iPod) It will show you a screen asking you to slide to unlock. Slide the little gray button with a finger until you can't slide it anymore. Hope that helps you :) :)
