Crenshaw melons are easy to grow. I plant mine on black plastic so the soil is warm and the moisture is held in the soil. Plant 4 seeds together and cover with about 1/2 inch of soil firmed down. When they start to ripen then will turn yellow and then a golden color - the color of goldenrod flowers, if you know what that is. When you can just barely smell the sweet melon scent it is probably ready. They will become too ripe and still have firm skin and look ok on the outside so don't leave them too long.
haha no clue!!!!!!!!!
How many caloties in 1 cup of Crenshaw melon?
No, a mango is not a melon. Melons do not grow on trees, they grow on vines. Mangos, on the other hand, do grow on trees.
you put the one melon slice on the crafting table where it give you melon seeds and you take the melon seed put it in a grass block that has been hoed then just wait for it to grow. ps you need water for it to grow
Where does honeydew grow? On the ground or in a tree?
yes they do but it is rare
As it grows from a seed, the melon stays on the ground; it does not grow in to a tree or a bush.
A melon is not a legume - legumes grow in pods such as beans and peas, lentils, peanuts, clover, lupins and soy
only in CA
Yes, but I've always heard not to salt the melon before taking the seeds for planting. Take the seeds, place them on paper towel to dry. Save and plant in spring; keep soil moist and they will sprout & grow.
it uses energy from the sun to grow and ripen
