People in a community are helpful, and are team workers.
Society is a word used to describe an over all general population of people in a pretty widely established area of space. Its a word used to generalize all people in a region. I would use and example such as American society would represent all of the people who live in America whilst a community would be a word to describe a more local knowledge. A community is more a group of people who live in a town, a condo complex, or even a large business building. Communities have members and are more leaned towards individuality. A random example would be a society votes for a President while a community votes for a local court judge.
