Why don't you send it back to Sony!
They should send you another camera because their product was faulty.
I would advise you not to take the camera apart. Unfortunately, you will find that a jammed lens will not fall under warranty repair. But many people have reported success in fixing lens errors without even opening the camera. Please see the Related Link "Fixing a Lens Error on a Digital Camera". If you don't have any success with the seven listed lens error techniques. You may want to consider swapping the LCD screens like you originally suggested. If you have a little mechanical or electronics background, it's not hard at all. Please see the other below Related Link concerning replacing an LCD screen for many examples.
Either the teacher or the student has broken the camera.
Assuming the camera is not actually broken you can control the camera with software such as Photobooth, iMovie and iChat or FaceTime which can be found in the Applications folder (apart from FaceTime which can be downloaded from the link below).
download usb driver
No. Definitely not. Mine has a VGA camera (640x480 resolution) and to my knowledge there isn't another version of the phone which has a better camera.
It might be broken or you need to get the lense checked for damage
Both are correct, but "Was the camera broken?" is more common and sounds more normal then "Had the camera broken?"
Either the teacher or the student has broken the camera.
yea you can... it depends how it was broken.
try buy another casing for your nokia N73 something wrong with that sliding case back camera..
If the Camera is not working properly then you will need to take the camera to a Camera repair shop trusted by Sony. They will know how to track down why the camera is not working as it should.
Your camera is not working because it might be faulty. The PS Vita may be faulty if the camera is not working.
Camera not working
To tell if your camera is working go onto accesories settings in the settings panel, select 'Camera Device Settings' and if your camera is working a red light will come on and you should see the room that the camera is in. If not then it could be a fault with the camera or you haven't plugged it in(blue light will be lit if camera is powered up).
Your camera also has another battery that could have gone out. I think its called a lithium battery. It's located inside the camera. You have to unscrew those tiny screws on the sides of the case to get to it. It's better to take it to a camera store and let them do it.
I am not sure about HP warranty coverage on your camera, but repairing the LCD is pretty simple. All you need is precision screw-driver set and another broken digital camera with the same model number but with a good lcd. Just open the camera and swap the lcds. Just remember to put them together the same away as you took it apart in the reverse order.
yes i need my broken screen to be fixed
