∙ 14y agoNo, but you do need to take it the same time everyday. This way you are less apt to forget a pill or two. The sugar pills do nothing but keep you on track. I hope you are using protection because there are still STD's that you can get. One of the most spread is a little silent virus called HPV and this eventually will cause cancer of the uterus. For young women there is now a series of shots for this virus.
