Well you shouldn't have jailbreakin' it. You should plug it into the computer and the apps you have should pop up on the Itunes then you save those then you factory default your Itouch then after that I think you put the apps back on then it should work! Don't jailbreak it again unless you want it not to turn on again.
Sorry, but if you have an iphone 3GS, then there is really no way to jailbreak it yet, atleast not a safe jailbreak that will work, but if you want to change the black theme on your apps page (behind all your applications) then go to settings, general, accesibilaty, and then you should see something that says white on black, change it to white and your iphone setup will be a lot cooler.
