Please note that the diamond mines in Africa are not owned by Africans, but by immigrants who purchased the land, and who mine the Natural Resources of the continent.
Africa has so many natural resources but is still extremely poor for a few reasons. The Europeans conquered most of black Africa during the middle ages, have made the natives work hard for little to no money, and kept all the resources to themselves. (Gold mines, diamond mines, leathers, fruit etc.) Nowadays due to the pretty crappy education systems in Africa (or most official systems there in general) the Europeans still control the uneducated people of Africa, once again taking all to themselves.
In mines
Yes. Diamond is a poor conductor of electricity.
Some parts of Africa are poor, some are not.
Canada is not a 'poor' country. Africa is a continent not a country. Many countries in Africa are poor.
Subsaharan Africa is the most poor.
Zambia is poor mainly due to mismanagement of the copper mines after they were 'nationalised' by Kaunda.
Because Africa is a poor country, with lots of poverty and a very High Crime Rate with not many jobs. While England is a Richer Country with lower Crime Rates, More Jobs and Less Poverty.
Africa has vast reserves of valuable minerals. This continent is the largest producer of gold , diamond , platinum , cobalt and chromium in the world. However it is poor in iron and coaL. The copper belt of Africa runs from the democratic Republic of the congo to zambia. Guinea is the leading producer of bauxite..
no Africa is poor
No, Africa is rich in resources.
