Probably it depends on what emergency, and what country in the world people are in, but in the United States of America, 9-1-1, 1-1-0 are just some of the important ones.
Just dial number 911 on your telephone to reach an emergency operator. The emergency operator will connect you to the police, the fire department, or whatever you need. However, 911 doesn't work everywhere, the numbers can vary depending on where you live. The best way to get in touch with someone in an emergency is just dial "0" for an operator. It is best not to fake a 911 call, because it is an emergency line and if one pulls a prank call, one can receive an expensive ticket.
depends what country you are in. For example, in the UK, you would dial 999 and in the USA you would dial 911.
555-6789, 555-PETE, or just try a bunch of random numbers and you'll get a number
If you are on Xbox 360, you can dial numbers and cheat codes by pressing up once on the D-Pad to open the phone, and another time to launch the keypad. Then, you just use it to dial in numbers.
The number you are referring to is: 112This was introduced as a common Europe-wide emergency number (not just the EU) to replace all the different numbers in different countries, so people would know what to dial in an Emergency wherever they were.112 does work in the UK, and it is the same as dialling 999. But it has had very little publicity in the UK.
When you are badly hurt you need to go to the emergency room. An auto accident is an emergency. EMTs are emergency medical personnel.
That's a funny question. Yes . There are a lot of phones out there that will do just that, if you sit on them just right or if you bump into something.
You can go to gentleathlete.com. dial one of the phone numbers then they will tell you which place to go for your P.E.
just in case the main power goes off they have a backup
I guess you mean 911, 112 or the equivalent, which you can dial on any cellphone, whether it is locked or unlocked; it need not even have a sim-card in it. If you dial 911 without it is a real emergency, you could get in trouble, whether the phone is locked or not. I guess it depend on the nature of your "emergency", if you are (pre-)teen, and just want dad to pick you up in the middle of the night in a forest, it might be OK. If you keep doing it to save tp pay for your mobile calls, it might not be looked gently upon :-)
yes it is
Just dial the number, all the numbers are the same type regardless of how the phone is physically connected. The code for the UK is 44.
