Yes, but be clear with your boyfriend that it is not to in anyway get back together (obviously) but to mend a bridge because you can't go your whole life avoiding someone, you have to confront your fears (although this may not be counted as a fear)
Also make it clear to your ex that you've moved on and would like you two to be friends.
Your boyfriend may want to come along with you when you meet up with your ex (just a procaution) because he may feel left out and if it's the beginning of your new relationship you and he may be only at the beginning of trusting each other.
Overall, just make it clear to both sides, be open to each other.
