This will vary; however here is a trick I learned. NEVER tell the bridal store your real wedding date. Say at least one month earlier; this way your dress will arrive on time. In my experience over the years, everybody's dresses always show up within days of the wedding - leaving little time for alterations and lots of headaches. Give yourself this gift of time!
