Although they appear to be the same age, I believe that Spock is older because an average Vulcan's life span is from 200 to 220 years, so logically he would have be older to appear the same age as Kirk.
(This is just my opinion though, it may not be completely accurate.)
Kirk
In the Star Trek (2009) movie, Jacob Kogan played the child Spock.
== == Zachary Quinto ("Sylar" on Heroes) has been cast as Spock for Star Trek 11. However, Leonard Nimoy will also play the "older" Spock in Star Trek 11. Also, another actor will play a "kid" Spock in this movie. If you're wondering how so many Spocks get into this movie it is because: Star Trek 11 (coming May 8th, 2009) is all about how Kirk and Spock came to meet. It may also explain some of the relations between Kirk, McCoy, Scotty, Uhura, Sulu, and Chekov. More information will be released once the movie is out in theatres.
You will find that Kirk, Spock, and the Klingons appear in various Star Trek movies. An example will be: Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country.
Star Trek 11 is coming to theaters May 8th, 2009. However, your question was not very exact and therefore it is hard to answer. The main idea of ST 11 is to explain how Spock and Kirk came to meet. However, this movie may explain the character bonds between Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty, Chekov, Sulu, and Uhura.
no spock is the first officer of Enterprise. Captain Kirk is the leader. So if Kirk is away or dead then Spock takes over. This is if you are referring to the original series.
In Star Trek fan fiction, the woman Kirk is often in love with is named Carol Marcus, while Spock is often paired with Nyota Uhura or T'Pring. These relationships are popular in fan fiction due to their complex dynamics and emotional depth.
Well, that would be a bit of a spoiler. But Spock is loyal (ugh, emotion) to his friend and Kirk. So, even though Spock and Sybok are half brothers Spock remains loyal to the Captain.
The original series .
In the episode "Amok Time", McCoy fakes Kirk's death by injecting him with a drug before he goes into combat with Spock. In the movie Star Trek: Generations, Kirk dies twice: saving the Enterprise from the approaching Nexus, and again helping Picard stop Soren from obliterating a star.
If you mean commanding officer as in James T. Kirk's superior, it would have been Captain Christopher Pike. If you mean Kirk's second in command (first officer), it would have been Spock. In the 2009 movie Star Trek, Captain Christopher Pike made Spock acting captain and James T. Kirk the acting first officer before he (Pike) was taken captive by the Romulans. Later in the film, Kirk provokes Spock to attack him, which soon after Spock is forced to relinquish his command due to being emotionally compromised. Kirk then assumes the role of captain, and Spock becomes his first officer. In the sequel Star Trek Into Darkness, Kirk is demoted for violating the Prime Directive and (now Admiral) Pike becomes commanding officer of the USS Enterprise. He then takes in Kirk and makes him first officer. Kirk later regains the role of captain after Admiral Pike was assassinated.
Mr. Spock is 109 years old.- Cat---------------------------------------As of the 2009 Movie Star Trek, Spock is 155 years old- Nekowhen you say spock are you talking about young spock or future time spock? But don't take the 2009 movie spock to have anything to do with the real original series spock. There are two star Trek universes now, and they have nothing to do withone-another.Milquetoast
