Spiro Agnew was infamous for being corrupt. He was the only vice president to resign his office because of criminal charges such as: Bribery, Tax Fraud, Extortion and conspiracy. He was also the first Greek American to become Vice President. When Agnew resigned, he was replaced by Gerald Ford, who would then become the President of the United States when Richard Nixon resigned.
