The higher the MP (mega Pixel) the more detailed the pictures will be. However, 8.1mp is far from being a low resolution picture. It all depends on what you are willing to spend, and what type of storage device you would be using. 10mp being more detailed will take up more space. When buying a digital camera I would also look at the zoom. Optical zoom is your best bet, if a camera only has a digital zoom, you will lose quality the closer in you zoom. Also, for me it is very important to have a rechargeable battery in the camera. It can get very expensive replacing AA's.
Many companies make a 10 mega pixel digital camera. The most popular companies that make a 10 mega pixel digital camera are Sony, Nikon, Panasonic, and Canon.
The cost of a digital camera cord depends strictly on the type of camera you own. The prices can range anywhere from 10-100 dollars. The best thing to do would be to research your model of camera than compare prices online and instore.
I would go with the 10 mp Samsug, because it's better quality. However I have a camera with a Carl Zeiss lens and it's very good. Bottom line they're both great quality but I would go with the second one.
ok when you mean camera you mean the media 35 mm SLR digital cameras have comperable picture quality to slr cameras 10 mpix is just as good if not better than 35 mm some people feel that digital photography is inpersonal that you can take 400 pictures in one day when in the world of 35 mm you were only limited to 31 snap shots in some cases.

my camera He has a point. The £5 disposable in your hands is better than the digital SLR on top of your wardrobe 10 miles away. That said, there are far too many variables to give a simple answer, but the one you can afford, and keep in your pocket ready to shoot, is a good start.
The first phone with a 10 mega pixel camera came out in 2006

in my opinion canon a650 is really best digital camera :) and my opinion is a olympus tough
A normal cameras capture the image on film which then requires developing. A digital camera has a pad of little sensors that capture the light and send a signal to a little computer chip that translates the Information to a viewable image. The resolution is better with more little sensors that can be packed onto the pad. A 10 megabyte camera has more sensors than a 5 megabyte camera, thus more resolution
