Answer 1

It ain't easy , but it's worth it if you're going to France .

Answer 2

It is not even easy for a French.

Answer 3

It is always hard to learn a foreign language.

Answer 4

According to me, English is much easier because it is more logical and pragmatic than the french.

Answer 5

In terms of grammar, it can be quite complex as many tenses sound the same, but that's only the advanced stuff. The basic grammar is relatively simple though. For vocabulary, a lot, and I mean A LOT of English vocabulary is French, so there are quite a few similarities there. regarding pronunciation, it is quite difficult to master for an English speaker, but if you are living in a French speaking country it is easier to pick up.

Answer 6

French grammar is somewhat hard. The vocabulary is relatively easy as it shares a large common base with English. Speaking perfect French would be difficult, but just getting your ideas through (without minding too much about perfection) isn't that difficult, and in any case no more than Spanish or German.

Answer 7

The difficulty of learning a language is based on two general criteria.

1) Inherent Difficulty of the Language: This is how complex the grammar, spelling, diction, and language composition are. (Japanese is much more grammatically simple than Russian, for example since it does not have cases, genders, or compound tenses.)

2) Distance from Languages known: This is how similar or different the words and grammar of the target language are from the speaker's native or previously acquired languages. (It is easier to learn Hebrew if your native language is Arabic than if it is German all else equal because Hebrew shares quite a bit of vocabulary and grammar with Arabic and almost none with German.)

As concerns French: 1) Grammar is relatively complex, but not overwhelmingly so and even though some spelling combinations are difficult at first glance (eau = oh), these combinations are consistent. 2) Considering that you already speak English (assumed since you submitted this question in English), French is very close to English and has heavily influenced English. Therefore, all else being equal French should be one of the easier languages for you to learn.

It depends on your first language. If your first language is English German is easier to learn than Italian because English contains many Germanic roots. However, if your first language is Spanish Italian is easier to learn than German because Italian and Spanish are both heavily influenced by Latin.

Is french a easy language or is it harder then German because German is a sick language?

The Department of Defense lists French as one of the easiest languages to learn, but in my personal experience I think German is harder. That seems to confirm the DoD view. I am not German, but I can say German is not a sick language. You might not like it, but German is beautiful in its own way just as French is. Personally I found French rather easier to learn, but that doesn't prove anything.

Is it worth learning German or should I learn Chinese?

Why not learn both? In this day and age, Chinese would probably be more help, but German's a heck of alot easier to learn. Start with German, and once you've wrapped your mind around learning a realtively easy language, move on the the much harder Chinese.

What is the most difficult language to learn to speak?

That depends on your native tongue, and the language groups. If you speak English, any of the Romance languages (French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portugese, Romanian, etc.) would be fairly easy to learn and in contrast any other languages would be harder (Japanese, Arabic, Icelandic, Farsi, etc.) If you spoke Japanese, it would be pretty easy to learn Chinese.

What heritage is Leonardo DiCaprio?

he is Italian, Russian and German ;)In proof, Leonardo is of German\Italian ethnicity. His mother(German) and his father(Italian) was announced by Dicaprio himself in an interview with David Letterman in 1995 and was announced on Leo Mania again in 1998 that his mom wasgerman and his dad was italian. That proof honestly makes the most sense. So,what is most likely to be true that Leo is Italian, Russian, and German VS him being half Italian half German. Its most believable that he's just German and Italian at the highest percentage or probability. Here's the hint! If it looks to good to be true, then its probably not true.
