No. Some people are sexually attracted to people of the opposite sex. Others are attracted to people of the same sex. This "sexual orientation" seems to be genetic -- it's not a choice, and it's not a disease.
In some cultures, though, homosexuals are treated as if they had a disease. This is a mistake -- all the research we have indicates that homosexually oriented people are just as healthy as anyone else!
