Most likely accredited universities will not accept your education from a non-accredited school. Without accreditation there is no way to judge if you home schooling program meets the requirements of a college or University. While it may cost more, accredited schools are definitely the way to go.

I am not sure, which state board you are talking about. There are several Nursing School boards in different States. An accredited college degree is accepted in all states. Universal degrees offers accredited college degrees so their degrees are recognized and accepted everywhere.

It is an accredited online school and college. In the United States, accredited educational institutes are considered legitimate and recognized. It is an online school this does not mean that it is unreal. Online education is becoming popular and it is just as real as traditional schools/colleges.
Ferrum College is an accredited school. It is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools so it is legit.
I go to this school. I am enrolled in the online college prep high school diploma. Their high school program is nationally AND regionally accredited, which is what people look for. Their college program is only nationally accredited which is kinda iffy. I'd recommend this school for the high school program though, I haven't had any problem.
Community colleges do accept high school diplomas from an accredited school.
