Not really. Candida is a yeast (fungus) while poison ivy is a flowering plant. The yeast is a living organism that is attempting to colonize your body while poison ivy simply exudes an irritating oil that causes an allergic reaction on exposed skin. Poison ivy usually affects only skin while candida usually affects the vaginal mucosa. Both itch (I can only speak as an authority on poison ivy) and both cause lesions but poison ivy runs its course in days while candida can live for years.

If, however you are referring to songs, Tony Orlando sang "Candida" while "Poison Ivy" was popularized by The Coasters. "Candida" is a good example of why you ought to find out what a name means before you stick your kid with a name that means something like "Yeast Infection".
