I am taking child developmenmt, and I dont think it is useful, unless you want to be a nurse or midwife, or something to do with pregnancies
There are some for profit schools that offer Child Development Degrees online but they are not accredited. The only way to get a good child development degree is to take a class a a college and not online.
Yes, you get bioligy, chemistry and physics, but it is a combined GCSE, it is good to take I did and came out with 2 A's

In GCSE'S your main GCSE'S are Maths and English, and you'll have to go to sixth form aswell for a good two years.
