sounds like he is just jealous and maybe doesnt trust you enough. YOu also have to take into consideration, how does he treat you overall, generally? If this is the only area that is bothering reassure him that he can trust you.
Jealousy and possessiveness are abusive. They are red warning signs that you may be dealing with an abuser. Assuming, of course, that you are not acting ostentatiously flirtatious in order to provoke him.
