No. If you are not dieting at all, or exercising vigorously, it is not healthy to drop eight pounds in one week. A pound is about 3500 calories worth of energy, so unless you either cut (or burned) 28,000 calories from your weekly diet and were morbidly obese to begin with, it is unlikely that you lost 8 lbs of fat in a healthy way. It is possible to have lost that much muscle mass however, if you lifted weights frequently and stopped for a week.
If you unexpectedly lost eight pounds in a week, you should see your doctor immediately.
For your height 5'5 and weighing 112 pounds, your BMI (body mass index) is 18.6. Underweight is anything under 18.5. Simply put you are in the healthy zone, but borderline healthy. Gaining a few pounds could be very beneficial to your health.
yes that is very healthy and i might be worried if a ten year old was anything less than 75 pounds.
Losing more than 1-2 pounds per week is not recommended. So for a healthy rate of weight loss, the answer is about 20-40 pounds; probably closer to 20. Healthy weight loss involves moderate exercise, plus avoidance of junk food, with small to medium-portioned meals of healthy foods, and without anything drastic such as starvation etc.
1 lb is recommended. -- My response: Loosing about 1-2 pounds a day is possible, and healthy, but anything above that isn't particularly healthy. It's possible to loose 5-7 pounds in a week if you exercise and eat well.

I would say anywhere between 110-130 pounds.. but everyone's body is different
A healthy, seventeen-year-old girl who is 5', 3" tall should weigh between 104 and 127 pounds. Anything above 130 pounds would be considered overweight for a girl of that height and age.
It is neither necessary nor sufficient. There are healthy people who are not 5"5"" and 113 pounds and there are people of that exact height and weight who are not healthy. There is nothing inherently healthy or unhealthy about that height and weight.
The normal, healthy weight for a boy who stands 4 feet 8 inches tall is between 55 pounds and 69 pounds. Anything over 69 pounds is considered overweight.
Around 160 to 170 pounds is healthy. Underweight is anything under 140 pounds, overweight is anything over 180 pounds. However, keep in mind that muscle weighs more than fat, and if you are muscular, the BMI chart values may not apply, as muscle mass is not considered during the creation of the charts.
