That's what the term "copyright" means, that the work in question (musical or otherwise) belongs to someone and cannot be copied without the permission of the owner (who normally wants to be paid).

Yes it is. There is the danger of being sued because of putting copyrighted music on YouTube.

Yes, it is illegal to copyright music from YouTube and add it to your own videos. I am a YouTuber myself (STPro 2021) and I would advise you to find non-copyright music instead, because you won't get sued and it is legal. SUBSCRIBE to STPro 2021 :)
