nope i know it sucks but ive been looking it up and apparently you can keep a southern flying squirrel.Massachusetts is very strict with keeping exotic and wild animals as pets but i think u find one injured and ask for a temporary permit they might give it to you until it is fully healed or so ive heard but u might wanna check my info is correct
