It is ok. When you start training a dog to pull weight, a heavy weight from the begining is not good. You should start with a light weight and work it from there.

The only purpose for a harness on a pitbull ( or any dog ) is for (weight )pulling, wearing it in the car to be seat-belted correctly, or work ( tracking , hiking, hunting etc)The pitbull can not walk with a harness , unless he/she is trained to heel , or else he/she will rip your arm off , because they pull really hard ( they can pull a 2000 kilos car so... )I hope my answer helped :)

I have seen strongest dogs against pitbulls in pull competition. The pitbull dont quit atitude made it won over a stronger dog.

The biggest pitbull dogs weight about 75 pound most. If you see or hear about a pitbull larger than that, I guarate you that this dog is not a real pitbull. I have seen pictures of bullies weighing more than a 100 pounds.
