It is totally natural for you cat to eat small animals! Cats, even our pet cats, are perfectly capable of safely eating a mouse as that is what they have evolved to eat, amongst other small animals and birds.
Unless the mouse has been poisoned or is seriously ill, nothing will happen to the cat. A cat's system is perfectly designed to handle raw meat, organs and bone. All the nutrients a cat needs is found in its prey.
Cats are natural hunters. If they chipmunks, it is okay. Cats as well as dogs sometimes hunt small animals.
squirrels, Monkey Also ;(
It usually depends on what your cat eats. If it eats anything and most everything then the answer is no.
How about foxes or feral cats?
While a little bit of fish on occasion is fine, feeding a cat cod every day is not ideal. Fish alone should never be the sole or main food source for a cat as a fish does not meet a cat's nutritional requirements.
there is no caterpillars that eat cat nip, all caterpillars will see what it is by taking a nibble but no caterpillar eats cat nip
It's okay in small doses. Whether the cat eats it or not is another question.

Cats are cats, and chipmunks are food to them. Other than keeping the cat inside there is not much that can be done about it.
