Do you really want to be with someone who doesn't love you? You deserve better than that. Don't settle for less. Good luck. Being happy is all that matters but you shouldn`t be with someone thatyou love and they dont love you back The definition of love is different for each person. A relationship where there is mutual respect and understanding, consideration for the other partner's well-being, emotional support and things of that nature, could easily be defined as "love." The state of being loved and being "in love" is often quite different. Likewise the definition of happiness is elusive at best. Material things make some people happy, others prefer simple pleasures such as sharing a quiet evening with the person they care for. Staying in a relationship or leaving it is something only the person involved can decide as no one can live someone else's life. Its important to make someone happy. But dont you want love too?

You cannot make someone happy. You can empathize. If the pet is misplaced, you can help look for it and post signs. Over time, they will finish mourning and get back to being happy.
