Is it your linkage or do you need a new gear box on peugeot 106 when you stopped at the lights it would not go into first gear will only go into 3 and 4 gear the gear stick seems to sound hollow?

Worn out linkages, replace the entire linkage. I have fitted rose joints on a 106 Rally car gearbox linkages but that hasn't solved the problem. They just wear and get sloppy.
