This is generally unknown as there isnt much concrete information out there about things like smoking tea or mint leaves. The best answer is this. most of the cancer causing ingredients in tobacco items are in fact caused by the cleaning process and the chemicals used. Not the tobacco itself. So the cancer causing chemicals are not as likely to be in there. but it is still generally not safe to smoke something unless you know what kind of fumes and chemicals that smoking process will create. once again I must touch on the fact that smoking is breathing smoke into your lungs. that is never healthy or good in the long run.
