Oxygen, o2 sensor Mazda 626Hello, from Australia. I have a 1991 626. I have just replaced my oxygen sensor, which should be replaced every 80,000 to 100,000km in order to minimise emmisions and maximise economy. It is great that you are giving it a go yourself. It should be located between the radiator and engine block. It is mounted into the exhaust and needs only a shifter to get it out. Just take the obvious care when swinging the shifter around (don't hit the radiator too hard).Clean around the hole before puting the new o2 senser in. Do it up tight. ensure that the new wire will not touch on the exhaust or hit any fans etc.

Cool.
