If you have an ulcer, then the risky pain relievers are nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or NSAIDs like aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen sodium, and ketoprofen, etc. However you can try Tylenol, but like any other medication this one has side effects also, so consult health care provider before taking anything, especially popping over-the-counter painkillers.

I have tried this, and it's wonderful. Take 2 tsp Baking Soda and mix it into a glass of water. Drink just before bedtime. I have found I then get to sleep all night without pain, and in the morning wake up with no pain.

This is wonderful to prevent my ulcer pain.

There are many medications that you can take, but make sure you see a doctor to get the right ones. Self-treatment in a case like this is very dangerous.

Some of the medications that people typically take are Tagamet or Zantac, antibiotics, or even Prilosec.

Another important thing is to modify your diet and your exposure to stress as much as possible.

Doctor will most likely NOT prescribe a pain killer for ulcers due to the fact they can make stomach troubles worst. Plus there are many other alternatives which reduce acid production to allow the ulcer to heal faster.
