the LED with a man running away from 3 curves lines lights up when the alarm is ON press this button if you leave any pets in the car and it disables the interior alarm sensors :)
A viper alarm is a great choice because of the reliability and easy install they have on any vehicle.
An electronic unit which controls an alarm system. This could be an Intruder Alarm, Fire Alarm etc. They commonly power the alarm system, monitor the devices on the system and display the status of the alarm system. Such as if there are any faults or alarm activations. Most also have their own battery back up, just in case the mains power fails, they are still fully functional. A user can control what the panel does. For example, to test the alarms, programme, disconnect certain circuits etc.
the guys on www.vvoc.com will help you out with any vectra questions you have mate
I just bought a 626 a couple weeks ago and I didn't even know until tonight that it had an alarm when it went off on me. Well I just looked it up in the owners manual and it says that to turn the alarm off you should unlock any door or trunk with the key. Doesn't list any other way. Hope this helps someone. What a surprise that was.
be carefull, removing the aftermarket module can make the car not start, as they may have tapped into the ignition circuit.... check all the WIRING going to their alarm module, and see if they have changed any of the original harness... good luck :)
Just turn it anti clockwise and the whole thing comes out. Its really easy there isn't any silly little clips or wires it just comes out.
Simply squeezeÊthe unlock button on the key less remote, insert the key in any outside lock cylinders and turn and then turn to unlock twice.
pull the negative terminal off of the battery. if it comes on again remove it. i would disconnect the battery and look for a red or black wire going to the pos cable and if the alarm trigers your door locks that wont work any more, so you would have to us ur key to get in but your syco alarm will shut up
disconnect battery ,but before doing so write down any codes required eg radio code etc
