NO is the simple answer, due to the nature of the system and the reason for its existence it is difficult if not impossible to disable. any attempt to disable it may render the car undrivable. robb

I just bought a 626 a couple weeks ago and I didn't even know until tonight that it had an alarm when it went off on me. Well I just looked it up in the owners manual and it says that to turn the alarm off you should unlock any door or trunk with the key. Doesn't list any other way. Hope this helps someone. What a surprise that was.

be carefull, removing the aftermarket module can make the car not start, as they may have tapped into the ignition circuit.... check all the WIRING going to their alarm module, and see if they have changed any of the original harness... good luck :)
