There definitely is growth in the PT field. You figure with the aging population getting older, people getting into accidents, people living longer etc., I believe this is a good field to get into.

∙ 14y agoPhysical therapy can be a very good field to get into. Becoming one though requires a master's degree, and some programs are even moving toward requiring a PhD. However, the salary is very good, health careers are very stable and it is possible to work full or part time in this career. People come in being in pain and may or may not leave feeling better. Being a PT does involve touching people and may be stressful on the therapist's body. Paperwork and calling insurance companies is a big part of the job as well if for the PT, and continuing education seminars are also a requirement a few times every year.
