The fact that you asked that question is the reason you probably can't.
The turbo itself is just one small part of the intake and exhaust systems. They would both need to be modified along with different wiring and a different engine management computer (Fuel injected). If you have a vehicle where the manufacturer had a turbo as an option then you could get the computer, wiring harness and all the parts in the intake and exhaust to do a conversion.
If the manufacturer didn't offer one on your vehicle the only way you'd get one on it is take it to someone who knows what they are doing, does custom work and bring a whole lot of cash.
a non-turbo engine will not hold up to the turbos you will have to put in hardened internals
turbo front cross member and turbo engine mount
no, the exhaust bolts on at a different place for turbo and non turbo engines you can probably use most of the exhaust but will have to get different engine pipes to hook up between engine and rest of exhaust
yes, of course you can because turbo is driven from the exhaust and nitrous oxide forces air into the engine
Yes, you can put a turbo charger on just about any engine.
Yes, this is possible. However, it involves a significant amount of components and systems not currently in the non-turbo car and it is generally easier, less expensive and more reliable to purchase the turbo car (if one is available).
Yes, you can turbo anything.
The short answer is yes, but A LOT of things have to be swapped out. ECU, sensors, dash gauges, complete exhaust system. Your talking about putting in some time and money to make sure everything involved with the turbo taken out and replaced.
You can put a Turbo on your 1992 engine. You will need to purchase a air intake Turbo modification kit.
4g63 (Turbo) or 420A (non-turbo)
put on a turbo
my husband says yea
