your alternator is bad even if you charge your battery it could still die because the battery is being wasted while you drive
just happen to me today the flashing battery light means your alternator is going bad and it is draining your battery..so your car may crank a few minutes before, but may put you down while you're out and about so be careful where you drive, because your battery can lose power in less than a minute of driving because of the alternator..car will stall instantly.
I have that problem check the water level of your battery, i find if i top up battery water, the flashing stops.
To be completely ready it takes about 30-45 minutes of driving for the computer to complete all tests and to allow smog testing.
Unplug the battery, wait ten minutes, hold down the horn to drain any remaining power, than reconnect battery.
No. Just reconnect the battery and let the car idle for 5-10 minutes and then start driving the car. The car will relearn your driving habits after a week or two. . . .
One option to reset is to disconnect the positive (+) battery cale on the battery for 3 minutes. Then reconnect it , this will reboot the computer and the light. SORRY: It doesnt work on the Nissan 2003 350z to do this.
It takes one hour - 45 minutes if you let it run out completely and if you turn it off completely it will be faster. However, if your battery comes out, it will only take 30 minutes to charge completly
Unplug it for a few minutes to reset the microprocessor. If you still get the flashing lights, you need a service call.
the battery is dead and needs to be charged or replaced, or it could also be the alternator is going bad
Disconnect the battery cable for about 10 minutes and the light will be reset. If it comes on again after driving, it's a recurring problem and you can get the codes read and hopefully fix the problem. If its totally dead (no radio, no starter) I would first look at your alternator/battery. This happened to my 2003 Trailblazer, and we had to replace the serpentine belt and the alternator. Battery light came on while driving and within ten minutes, the car was dead.
Unhook the battery for a few minutes.Unhook the battery for a few minutes.
