Maryland has no natural lakes, only man made reservoirs including Lake Artemesia, Deep Creek Lake and numerous others. Rivers include the Christina, St Martin, Pocomoke, Wicomico, Nanticoke, Choptank, Chester, Sassafras, Susquehanna, Patapsco, Patuxent, Potomac, Anacostia, Monocacy and that very strange river named the Youghiogheny which flows north to join the Ohio and eventually drain into the Gulf of Mexico.
