It's on channel 0101, when you press 'all channels' just go upwards and you should fInd it.
1). It has to be an FM radio. 2). For TV sound, tune the radio to 59.75 MHz for Channel 2 65.75 MHz for Channel 3 71.75 MHz for Channel 4 81.75 MHz for Channel 5 87.75 MHz for Channel 6 (can hear this one at the bottom end of your car's FM radio dial) Find the frequencies of other channels on the internet. For each channel, the aural (sound) carrier is 0.25 MHz below the channel's top frequency. Notice that you can't tune most radios to these numbers, because they're designed to receive radio broadcasts, not TV. 3). None of this works at all if the station has gone to all-digital transmission.
Radio 1, the UK contemporary channel run by the BBC is no longer on AM but is on FM between 77 - 79 MHz. It is also online, on Sky, Freesat and Freeview platforms and on DAB radio.
One meter wavelength corresponds to a frequency of 300 MHz.Several radio services below that frequency ... wavelengths greater than 1 meter ... include:-- all AM and FM broadcast-- all international "short wave" broadcast-- "CB" radio-- almost all "ham" radio capable of communicating internationally-- all toy walkie-talkies-- military submarine communication-- old LORAN navigation-- all analog TV below channel 14-- all CATV below channel AA-- airlines air-to-ground communicationSome radio services above that frequency --- wavelengths less than 1 meter ... include:-- almost all "public safety" communication (police, fire, ambulance, etc.)-- cellphone, mobile data-- GPS-- the rest of the TV channels-- the cooking energy in your microwave oven
In the UK, the best three most popular radio channels are: BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 4* and BBC Radio 1. Other popular radio channels are: Heart, Capital, BBC Radio 5 Live*, Kiss, Smooth Radio and Magic FM.
I would much rather live without a radio. You can get music lots of ways other than the radio, including MTV and VH-1. Definitely without a radio. TV is very good entertainment and often educational. If your PlayStation or Xbox is hooked to your TV monitor, you would lose those as well. You can listen to music on your computer, TV, iPod and such. (I personally don't listen to the radio much anyway.)

I'm not an expert in this area, but I know it has to do with broadcast frequencies. Radio and Television, as industries, must use certain bands of frequencies in AM / FM. In the very beginning of television (which most families did not have a TV set until the late 1940s-mid 1950s), TV broadcasters did try to use Channel 1. But it overlapped frequencies with and interfered with land radio broadcasting. So the FCC had to restrict Channel 1 to radio only. Wikipedia goes on to explain: "TV Channel 1's last location was 44-50MHz. Land mobile radio and television broadcasters shared the same frequencies until 1948. This shared allocation was eventually found to be unworkable, so the FCC reallocated the Channel 1 frequencies for public safety and land mobile use and assigned TV channels 2-13 exclusively to broadcasters."So that is why television does not receive any broadcasts over Channel 1. It's amazing to realize the history that goes back to pre-1930s radio!
Channel 5 showed series 1 2 3 and 4 of House and Sky One is showing series 5 now
The England versus Italy World Cup game is on the UK TV channel.
Sky 1 is so popular in the UK because it is a unique television channel with many popular shows. It has shows for everyone and many of local people's favorites.

Depending on which service you have, Sky Plus HD Box or Virgin media will dictate the channel - 511 is Sky Sports 1 and 512 is Sky Sports 2 on Virgin Media Boxes - and if you have Sky TV through the Sky Plus or Sky Plus HD set top box, you can receive Sky Sports on 401 for Sky Sports 1 and 402 for Sky Sports 2.
