The book introduced the phrase, not familiar before the '80s, "One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter." The troubles in Ireland between the Protestant Unionists (British) vs the Catholic Nationalists (Ireland).
To the Irish Catholics, the British Unionists are the terrorists, and the IRA are their freedom fighters. Though, to the British Unionists, the IRA are the terrorists.

A: Basically, if i pick fox hunting as an example. One man, he is a terrorist, he terrorises the hunters and sabotages their hunts, they hate him! However this terrorist, he fights for freedom for the foxes !
