There is a great need for a study on stress management. Many people suffer from stress every day. It can impact one's health negatively. The more that is learned about dealing with stress, the better off people will be.
Weather or not adolescence is always a period of stress cross-culturally.
A certain amount of stress is necessary for people to perform any sort of work. A problem with stress develops when the pressure to perform a task interferes with how safely the job is done. Injuries can increase when people are not focusing on the job at hand, or when they are expected to perform tasks beyond their physical capabilities. In Queensland the 1980's a workers compensation stress claim set a precedence in law when a decision was made that if stress contributed to even 1% of the injury, the claim was accepted. An avalanche of stress claims followed, many having very little to do with "stress". Today, it is very much harder to prove stress as the causal factor in workplace injuries, but it most certainly exists. Managing stress and preventing work injuries is all about risk assessing the type of job, how it is done, ensuring adequate training, good work ethics, safe work practices, and good management skills.

This is an equation I've never seen before, but in all honesty with 50% of all marriages ending in divorce - if both people agree that using contraception is a positive thing for their relationship - then I will guess 40% vs 60% of people who disagree about using contraception. Most people find having children adds a ton of stress to their marriage, if the marriage is floundering adding children to the mix usually doesn't help a marriage in trouble. A marriage that is strong and healthy may be better equipped to deal with the stress.
Stress is the main thing that decreases performance level. We want our youth to perform well. That is why stress is harmful to youth.
Performance under stress is particular to the individual and how they handle stress. Some work very well under stress while others may fall apart. The question might be whether it is considered to be positive or negative stress by the individual experiencing it.
Unfortunately, no. Stress is everywhere. The only people who are completely successful in avoiding stress (theoretically) are those people who are unfortunately in comas.
The best stress management technique to exercise. Most people can get exercise through walking and many can do the more strenuous activities with home equipment or at a gym.
Its more common than people realize that if a person is under so much stress it induces vomitting, then it would be best for them to seek counseling to learn techniques and ways to help them better manage and deal with their stress.
