#1) The US should have helped the French to fight it out.

#2) It was wrong of the US to get involved without the UN's military involvement.

#3) The US Military should have recruited more aliens seeking citizenship.

#4) The US should have used death row inmates to fulfill suicide missions.

#5) The A-Bomb would have shortened the war considerably (even a small one).

#6) Politicians should not get involved in making military decisions, without enlisting their own sons and daughters first.

#7) More attention to drug re-habilitation and/or re-enrty to civilian life should have been given the US military participants.

#8) Agent Orange should never have been used south of the DMZ.

#9) The activities of spies and other users of espionage against the US should have been brought to light - and to trial.

#10) Haiphong Harbor, once mined, should NOT have been 'un-mined'.

And the REAL #1 personal opinion) I am glad I missed it.
