I would suggest you get a PTFE barbell for your navel piercing and wear that for as long as your sports schedule lasts. PTFE is a biocompatible surgical Teflon that will flex with movement and prevent any damage from occurring during contact play, that in concert with taped gauze over the piercing and you should be good to go. Standard jewellery (barbells and rings) don't like impacts and is very rough on the new piercing when it's trying to heal. Getting the piercing sooner than the season start would have been the better bet but for now consider the PTFE as your best option. See your professional body piercer for more assistance.
just make sure to clean it after you work out and maybe tape it so it doesnt get ripped out during sports
no. but if your under the age of 16. you need a parent/guardian to sign for it. or you can piece it yourself
No... but it probably will be
Not unless it stops you from having sex. AnswerIt doesn't stop pregnancy, but if you are pregnant you will need to take your piercing out. You know how around like 6 months or so you get that cute little snooze button? Well that's why haha.
No. If you want to get pierced at a decent piercing studio, you need a photo ID like anywhere else.
It couldn't hurt to go online and learn all you can about proper piercing techniques and aftercare... That would be smart for you to do in the mean time anyway. In order to try to successfully convince them to change their minds, you need to know why they are objecting in the first place. For example, I don't know if their logic is "We said you could have one piercing, and you used it on a belly button piercing" or "belly buttons are hidden whereas industrials are not, and we don't want her to have trouble at job interviews and so forth" or what. If you know the REASON for their objection, then you can formulate your rebuttal such that it addresses their specific concerns. "You let me have my belly pierced, so why not an industrial too!?" is not a good argument, that's for sure. It might also help to include them in the process. Even if you know they would say no, at least OFFER to let them come with you when you do it and meet the piercer, etc. In fact, if you have a good piercer, it would probably only be a good thing if your parents met him/her and saw how clean and sterile and professional everything was at his/her studio. (This is, of course, assuming you'd find a good piercer with a good studio!)
You need parental consent.
You need to peruse your local shops and talk to many people in there about it. There are no "stores" as in wal-marts, targets or the like that will pierce a belly button for various reasons.
Ahhh No. You need to have the piercing for a minimum of a year to be able to walk around with a pierced navel without having jewellery in it.
In most places in the United States, you need parental consent until age eighteen.
When you get your belly button pierced, the person doing it will generally, if not always, use a stainless steel belly button ring. At least they will if they're a professional, and if not you don't really need to get a piercing from them anyway. This will have to stay in until the piercing is properly healed and then you can put in a clear or plastic retainer, available in different colors.
A tattoo parlor or some piercing padgodas. but under 16 you need parental consent.
You can be any age to get your belly pierced as long as your legal guardian allows it. They also need to go into to the shop and sign. Also you can get a fake they look just as nice.
I would suggest calling Tigerlilly and ask them directly, but your mom will need id for both of you.
You certainly do not need to get your belly button pierced if you have an outtie.....The pressure against the jewelry will cause the jewelry to eventually migrate...You may get 2 months or two years out of it, but my bet is on the two months....One day you wil be in the shower washing your belly button and you will feel your jewelry in your hand, no blood, no pain, and no piercing....If your piercer is straight up and honest he will tell you these things.....Hope this helps...
There is no such thing as belly button dandfruff, you probably just need to clean the inside of your belly button.
Basically at any age. If you are 16+ you can get any piercing without any parental guidance. But if you are under 16 you will need an adult with you.
All you need is a legal guardian and a birth certificate. I think most places will let you get it done at either 13 or 15.
